Position Overview:

Shortlist Professionals Ltd is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. The SDR will play a key role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential clients. You will be the initial point of contact for prospects, effectively communicating our HR consulting services and building a strong sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
    • Conduct outbound lead generation activities such as cold calling, email outreach, and personalized messaging to nurture prospects.
  • Qualification and Needs Analysis:
    • Engage with prospects to understand their HR challenges, needs, and objectives. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and prioritize opportunities for the sales team.
  • Appointment Setting:
    • Schedule meetings and demos with qualified leads for our sales executives.
  • Sales Collateral and Presentation:
    • Effectively communicate our HR consulting services and value proposition to prospects. Share relevant sales materials and presentations to pique interest and generate curiosity.
    • Develop a deep understanding of our recruitment & HR consulting services and effectively communicate their value to prospects.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in the CRM (Zoho) system.
    • Collaborate with the sales team and managers to transition qualified leads and facilitate seamless handoffs.
  • Sales Metrics:
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Market Intelligence & Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and HR best practices to engage in informed discussions with prospects.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in B2B sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and goal-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Zoho) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the HR consulting industry or HR-related services is advantageous.

Job Description:

Shortlist Professionals Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and driven HR Associate to assist our P&C department with administrative and P&C-related tasks. The HR Associate will be responsible for updating employee records, filing P&C documents, initiating background checks on shortlisted candidates, and providing suitable recommendations to improve P&C policies. The successful candidate should be knowledgeable about Uganda labor legislation and capable of demonstrating excellent administrative and organizational skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Updating PEAS Employee databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details and sharing with staff monthly P&C updates.
  • Ensuring Network employee files are up to date with the latest information.
  • Screening potential employees’ resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.
  • Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates.
  • Posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms.
  • Tracking progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects.
  • Preparing and sending offer and rejection letters or emails to candidates.
  • Coordinating new hire orientations.
  • Responding to staff inquiries regarding P&C policies, employee benefits, and other P&C-related matters.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or studying toward a degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Proven experience working in an office environment.
  • Working knowledge of Uganda Labor Laws.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
