Summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, responsible for 40% of Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda, a subsidiary of CCBA, is seeking a Fleet Fuel Clerk in Kampala. This role reports directly to the Fleet and CDE Planner.

Key Purpose Statement

To professionally manage the issuance of fuel to the company’s fleet and maintain the cleanliness of the fuel pump, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and cost-effectiveness in product distribution.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise fuel delivery, ensuring truck seals are intact and fuel type and amount are correct.
  • Verify facility fuel tanks before and after new deliveries.
  • Ensure full unloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Conduct daily fuel quantity checks and record keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with CCBA rules, regulations, policies, and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate a fuel pump and fill vehicle tanks with diesel to a specified quantity.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of the fuel dispensing pump.
  • Provide accountability for all fuel tank transactions.

Qualifications & Experience

Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda, a subsidiary of CCBA, is seeking a Cold Drinks Equipment (CDE) Manager in Kampala. This role reports directly to the Logistics Director.

Key Purpose Statement

The CDE Manager will lead, develop, and support the implementation of the CDE strategy, business plan, and initiatives, ensuring compliance with strategic priorities for long-term growth, leveraging scale, and building fundamental processes, systems, and people capabilities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an effective CDE strategy and business plan.
  • Monitor CDE utilization and provide improvement advice.
  • Monitor market conditions and implement optimization initiatives.
  • Manage and control outsourced CDE services and contracts.
  • Ensure optimal CDE management system functioning and processes.
  • Research and develop specifications for new cooler acquisitions.
  • Manage the acquisition and disposal of CDE.
  • Ensure optimal deployment and availability of cold drink equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of FMCG logistics and cooler management systems (advantageous).

Experience

  • 5 years in cooler repairs and management
  • 3 years in a managerial role (advantageous)
