Job Summary:
As a Risk and Compliance Assistant at Asaak, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards. You will assist in conducting internal audits, maintaining compliance records, and supporting the implementation of improvements across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Support compliance monitoring efforts and maintain accurate records of audit findings.
- Assist in preparing reports summarizing key audit and compliance-related information.
- Collaborate with departments to gather relevant insights and address compliance concerns.
- Identify areas for process improvement related to internal controls and compliance mechanisms.
- Organize training sessions and awareness programs for employees on compliance policies.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and compliance requirements through research.
- Provide administrative support for audit and compliance-related activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in auditing, compliance, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with audit and compliance software is advantageous.
