Job Description:
The Store Clerk will support the Logistics function by ensuring proper documentation for all store functions, including shipping and receiving records, and supervising stock movement. The successful hire will be based in our Mbale field office and report to the Area Coordinator and Logistics Officer.
Key Activities and Deliverables:
- Accept and count delivered products, ensuring relevant documents are filled.
- Ensure weekly stock counts are accurate, reconciled, and forwarded to the hub manager.
- Properly load and unload products according to the packing list.
- Update stock cards for each item.
- Maintain a neat and clearly labelled stock room.
- Communicate with group coordinators and leaders to plan deliveries.
- Coordinate and track stock movement.
- File delivery notes signed by group leaders and customers.
- Review service provider rates and other transportation costs to minimize costs.
- Prepare and share daily stock delivery summaries in Excel with the hub manager.
- Prepare products for client transfer.
- Replenish inventory by making orders.
- Ensure customers receive products by receiving delivery notes.
- Replace damaged or missing products as approved by hub managers – warranties.
- Attend weekly stock reconciliation and stock level adjustment meetings with the hub manager.

Job Description:
The Hub Manager will manage 6-7 field staff responsible for building client relationships and fulfilling sales and loan officer duties. Reporting to the Director, the Hub Manager will be responsible for achieving sales and client repayment targets, fostering a culture of ownership and transparency, and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
Key Activities and Deliverables:
- Leadership & People Management:
- Coach and support a team of group coordinators.
- Evaluate team performance, conduct reviews, and develop training.
- Recruit and train group coordinators as needed.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Analyze and improve customer relations.
- Frequently travel to the field to monitor activities and engage with customers.
- Operations and Administration:
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to company processes and procedures.
- Handle administrative duties such as stock reconciliations, record keeping, and reporting.

- Minimum three years’ cumulative work experience, including at least one year managing a team and two years as a loan officer or field officer working directly with clients in rural areas.
