Summary of the Position: The Senior Associate, East Africa Regional Advisor will oversee the Emerging Leader experience for the East Africa cohort, serving as the primary contact and support system for Emerging Leaders. The role also involves strengthening networks and partnerships, supporting safeguarding measures, and collaborating on various program initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in program management for youth-serving programs
- Experience working with adolescents and young people in East Africa
- Robust project management and communication skills
- Familiarity with youth leadership, advocacy, and gender equality initiatives
- Knowledge in sexual and reproductive health and rights is preferred
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace
- Ability to travel within East Africa and globally
Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing the Emerging Leader Experience
- Coordinating the Emerging Leaders Mentor Program
- Providing context-specific guidance and support
- Strengthening networks and partnerships
- Implementing safeguarding measures
- Supporting other program initiatives as needed

Summary of the Position: The Senior Associate will bring expertise in trust-based grantmaking practices to support Women Deliver in resourcing advocates to advance SRHR and gender equality. This role involves overseeing grantmaking across workstreams, supporting new grant initiatives, and contributing to monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in program and grant management
- Experience with trust-based and participatory grantmaking
- Strong understanding of budget management and evaluation frameworks
- Knowledge in sexual and reproductive health and rights preferred
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace
- Experience in program design and grantmaking strategies desirable
