Job Summary:
The Credit Manager is responsible for ensuring Eleglance Finance Limited maintains competitive credit products that respond quickly to market changes and meet the needs of our clients. This role involves continuous review, improvement, and development of products, credit analysis, delinquency management, and credit training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivating a corporate credit culture to drive loan portfolio growth.
- Providing leadership and clear focus for employees delivering credit products and services.
- Developing strategies for portfolio growth and client outreach.
- Ensuring strong portfolio quality and implementing processes for core credit products.
- Identifying staffing needs and participating in the recruitment process for credit staff.
- Building credit staff competency through coaching and training.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, economics, microfinance, development economics, or any other relevant business-related course.
- MBA is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 6 years of relevant experience, with 3 in banking or credit (retail development-focused).
- Strong credit analysis skills and experience.
- Experience in developing credit growth strategies at a senior level.
- Exposure to microfinance is desired.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledgeable in computer applications, especially MS Office.
- Aged below 35 years.

Job Title: Credit Officer

Job Summary:
The Credit Officer ensures the smooth running of the operations department by maintaining a clean portfolio with PAR of not more than 3%. This involves carrying out proper loan appraisals and adhering to set policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess clients’ qualifications for loans based on the credit policy manual.
- Prepare and submit required documents for loan processing.
- Conduct risk assessments for optimum recovery of funds.
- Advise management on reviews of loan policies and procedures.
- Develop relationships between the company and clients to achieve high levels of customer loyalty.
- Handle customer complaints and follow up on outstanding loans.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any business-related course, preferably Business Administration.
Experience:
- Fresh graduate.
- Must be able to ride a motorcycle or willing to learn within the first month of engagement.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ethical behavior.
- Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Aged between 22-25 years.
