The Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) is seeking eight (08) Volunteer Counselors to join their team in various locations across Uganda. This is a full-time volunteer position aimed at supporting community engagement efforts in addressing public health challenges.

Organization Overview
The Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) is an autonomous, not-for-profit organization established in 1991 through a partnership between the Uganda Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defence, and Makerere University Medical School (now Makerere College of Health Sciences). The JCRC was initially formed to combat the HIV/AIDS crisis in Uganda and has since expanded its focus to include various public health initiatives.
Responsibilities
As a Volunteer Counselor, you will:
- Provide counseling services to community members, focusing on health-related issues.
- Engage with the community to promote awareness and education on health topics.
- Assist the Community Engagement Officer in organizing and conducting outreach programs.
- Offer emotional and psychological support to individuals affected by health challenges.
- Document counseling sessions and maintain accurate records of engagements.
