University of Toronto Scholarships: Full Tuition and Residence Support

Overview:

Applications are now open for the 2025 Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program. This prestigious scholarship at the University of Toronto offers outstanding international students the chance to study at one of the world’s leading universities in the vibrant city of Toronto. Scholarship Details:

• Coverage: Full tuition, books, incidental fees, and residence support for four years.
• Eligibility: Open to international students, including those studying at Canadian high schools. Must be in the final year of secondary school in 2024/2025 or have graduated no earlier than June 2024.
• Number of Scholarships: Approximately 37 students will be named Lester B. Pearson Scholars each year.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. International Student: Non-Canadian students requiring a study permit.
2. Educational Status:
   • In final year of senior secondary school in 2024/2025 or graduated no earlier than June 2024.
   • Must begin studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025. Students already in post-secondary education or starting in January 2025 at another institution are ineligible.

Application Process:

1. Nomination by School:
   • High schools must submit a participation application if not previously verified. Participating schools will receive nomination access from July 1, 2024.
2. University Application:
   • Apply to the University of Toronto by October 18, 2024, for admission in September 2025. The Pearson Scholarship applies only to the first choice of program.
3. Scholarship Application:
   • Complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application by November 8, 2024, after receiving a nomination and applying to the university. A private link will be provided for the scholarship application.
