He was summoned under the watchful eye of the anti-Coruption Court directed by the acting senior Grade One Justice, Mr Ebert Asiimwe and accused of two counts of managing suspected property contrary to section 21A of the anti-Coruption act  (as amended).

The state Prosecutiors said that Mr Lugoloobi on July 14, 2022 and February 2023 at OPM Stores in Namanve in Mukono Region and at different places in Matugga, Wakiso district and Ntenjeru North constituency  in Kayunga district, managed government property, indeed; 400 pre-painted iron sheets checked “Office of the prime minister” having knowledge to believe  that the said iron sheets were procured because of loss of public property,, an offense under segment 10(1) o the anti-Coruption act

In the second account , the Prosecution said Mr Lugoloobi between February 1 2023 and march 16, 2023 at OPM Stores in Namanve and at different places in Matugga, wakiso Region and in Ntenjeru  constituency, Kayunga district managed suspect property, indeed; 300 pre-painted iron sheets checked “Office of the Prime minister”, having reason to accept that the said iron sheets were procured because of loss of public property, an offense under Segment 10 (I) of the Counter Defilement Act.

The Ntenjeru North MP’s endeavor to petition for bail we’re futile when the judge said he wanted additional time to examine through the reports his legal counselors had submitted to court.
Mr Asiimwe said he was unable to make his decision on Monday on account of the length of the entries made by the legal advisors and that a few issues couldn’t be underestimated.
