Office of the Prime Minister Uganda Announces 21 Job Openings

The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) is inviting applications from qualified Ugandan nationals to fill 21 vacant positions in its Department of Refugees Management. This recruitment drive aims to strengthen the department’s capacity to handle refugee-related activities effectively.

The available positions are distributed across various stations, including Kampala, Adjumani, Hoima, Mbarara, and Arua. The details of the vacancies are as follows:

Application Process:

Interested candidates must address their applications to the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister, P.O. Box 341, Kampala. The application package should include:

  • Copies of academic certificates
  • Record of experience
  • Detailed curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Personal contact addresses (phone contacts and email addresses)
  • Recent passport-sized photograph
  • Contacts of three referees

Applicants must clearly quote the reference number of the post they are applying for on the top left-hand side corner of the application letter and envelope. Submissions should be made to the Human Resource Management Department, Open Registry, 3rd Floor, Office of the Prime Minister.

The OPM emphasizes that only certified transcripts and certificates will be considered. Applicants should apply for only one post and must be willing to work in remote rural settlements. The deadline for receiving applications is Friday, 5th July 2024, at 5:00 PM.
