After three and a half years, Kizza left Lugogo in search of greener pastures. He had stints in the United States Major League Soccer. While in the MLS, he played for the Thierry Henry-coached Montreal Impact for a couple of seasons. In 2022, he signed for Portugues topflight side FC Arouca but didnt play any games for them. In more transfer news, newly promoted UPL side Lugazi FC has secured the services of Bashir Asiku. The defender joins on a two-year contract from relegated Gaddafi. An international for Uganda in the age-grade levels, Asiku brings a wealth of experience, having won the league and Uganda Cup with his boyhood club Vipers SC.
