Mother Stabs 3yr old son to death

Police in Lira city is investigating a situation under which a 24-year old woman stabbed her 3-year old son to death.
Cinderella Alum, 24 yrs old, an occupant of Telela ward in Lira-City West Division was captured on Thursday night after she purportedly wounded her 3-year old child, Jordan Opio to death.
It’s supposed that on Sept seventh, 2022 at around 5pm, the deceased was saved from a accident while attempting to cross the main highway of Lira-Kitgum road, in Ngeta. Eye witnesses say the deceased mom was called to pick her son.
On the contrary, while recieving her child, the suspect told the onlookers that her child is problematic before jokingly adding that she would kill him.
The North Kyoga Local Police spokesperson, SP Patrick Jimmy Okema said after saying  the words, the suspect took the kid and cut him on the head, leaving him draining lavishly.
“The neighbours tried rushing  him to Ngetta health center  III however he passed on prior to arriving at the premises. Immeadiately the local area individuals acted legally by catching and giving her over to the police headquarters in Ngetta,” says SP Okema.
The suspect has been recognized as Cinderella Alum.
“The suspect is in police cell in Lira-City West Division in Ojwina, documents are being complied for submission to the  resident chief state attorney for examination and advise before preparing  her for court on conceivable charge of homicide,” Okema said on Friday.
The occurrence comes when the nation is seeing instances of misstreatment against children.
