Moslem believers gathered for idd prayers

Leaders of the Moslem fraternity in Uganda have encouraged Islamic lovers to appeal to God for worldwide harmony as they end the sacred month of Ramadan during Idd-el Fitr festivities affirmed for April 21, 2023.

On Thursday, experts in Saudi Arabia located the new bow moon representing an end to  fasting.
As per Dr Sheik Ziyad Swaleh Lubanga, the director of sharia at Uganda Muslim supreme council (UMSC) national prayers for  Eid will be at Gaddafi Mosque in Kampala-beginning at 8am and will be driven by the mufti of Uganda Sheik Ramadhan Mubajje

At Kibuli Mosque, prayers  will be led by Dr Hafith Walusimbi, the director of Sharia under the Kibuli parallel Muslim administration, beginning at 9am.

“As per Islamic lessons, when Idd and Juma correspond on the same time, the Idd prayers  outweighs Juma prayers.
On the contrary, Sheik Kaggwa said assuming that somebody misses the Idd prayers, he needs to perform Juma prayers normally.
“It is likewise very crucial to take note that  Idd prayer  is a  requirement for all grown-up Muslims, Juma prayers  are just mandatory for men are not traveling,” he expressed.
Dr Lubanga urged Muslim believers to appeal to God for harmony and concordance in nations like Sudan where war is outrageous.
