The Luweero Grade One Judge’s Court has sentenced a mother on her own guilt for oppressing her kid child to brutal, cruel treatment and substantial damage in break of Segment 7(1) of the Counteraction and Disallowance of Torment Act 2012.
Dorothy Nabulime, an occupant of Busula A Town, Katikamu Sub-province in Luweero Region, showed up before justice John Paul Obuya yesterday.
Ms peace Bashabe, the district  state lawyer, on September 6th let court know that Nabulime between May and September abused the kid in spite of mediation from her neighbors and nearby chairman committee.
“The neighbors got worried subsequent to noticing her heinous acts against the child. She likewise got a warning from the Neighborhood Board office at Busula. The office encouraged the neighbours to catch the proof on video and forward it to higher authorities on the nurge  that the suspect neglected to respect the prior alerts,” Ms Bashabe said.
A clinical assessment report uncovered that the child sastained body wounds, while Nabulime was viewed as of sound mental status.
Nabulime admitted to every one of the charges under the steady gaze of court and requested pardoning.

Police captured the convict last  weekend after a video of her beating the child became a web sensation across social media platforms.
The casualty was given over to a childcare center in Luweero for temporary guardianship.
Ms Joyce Namigadde, the region probation officer, said the child’s wellbeing has returned to normal and he would be resettled by rules that guarantee insurance of kids’ lives.
