Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving Duties:
- Drive World Vision vehicles and authorized passengers to specified destinations as approved by the supervisor.
- Ensure safe transportation of staff and partners to support the implementation of their planned activities.
- Delivery Duties:
- Deliver packages, goods, mails, and other information to specified recipients in accordance with World Vision policies.
- Track deliveries and maintain records.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Check and maintain vehicle status, including engine oil, water, nuts, battery water, license, insurance, brakes, and tyre pressure.
- Conduct regular vehicle repairs and maintain vehicle hygiene.
- Incident Reporting:
- Report all vehicle damages and accidents to the supervisor as per World Vision policies.
- Security Monitoring:
- Ensure the security of the vehicle, passengers, and luggage.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain a travel log, recording travel details, time, and work hours.
- Professional Conduct:
- Dress professionally and in accordance with the organization’s dress code.
- Submit monthly vehicle reports accurately.
- Compliance:
- Observe traffic rules, regulations, and speed limits.
- Adhere to working hours and park the vehicle at designated areas.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Education: Ordinary level certificate.
- License: Valid driving permit.
- Experience: Three years of driving experience.
- Skills: Ability to prioritize work, knowledge of fax machines, photocopiers, computers, and telephones.
- Computer Literacy: Required.
- Commitment: Must be a committed Christian, able to participate in daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Mechanical Knowledge: Essential.
- First Aid Skills: Required.
- Road Safety Knowledge: Needed.
- Additional Experience: NGO background and emergency response experience are vital.
