Job Details
EnerGrow Sales Agents are responsible for relationship building and sales with our customers. They also support monthly payment collection from their customers.
Specific Tasks Include:
- Building awareness and sales of EnerGrow loans and electronic products through door-to-door sales, product and company displays at markets, presentations to community groups, and engaging with partners and their teams.
- This commission-based role requires motivated and talented salespeople who are excited to use their skills to improve people’s lives through our products. Sales Agents earn a commission on each sale and also benefit from customer loan repayments.
- Digitally gathering all required customer information to provide a loan, ensuring all information presented to EnerGrow’s team is truthful and accurate.
- Undertaking occasional customer surveys as guided by line managers.
- Working hand in hand with the Collections team to ensure all clients pay on time.
- Exceptionally talented sales agents may be trained to provide training to our customers on business improvement and financial management.
- Daily travel to sales areas to meet potential clients and build relationships with local leaders.
- Delivering high-quality client service by being punctual, providing accurate information, and respecting all potential customers.
- Participating in maintaining and updating written and electronic client records, as well as other client or group documents.

Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player who can manage efficiently in a changing environment
- Ability to work independently
- High level of integrity
- Fluency in English and Luganda
- Comfort with data entry on phones and computers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to excellence, outstanding work ethic, and attention to detail
- Outgoing with the ability to approach new groups or clients
- Sales experience is a plus but not required
