Job Summary:

The Back Officer will play a crucial role in verifying data accuracy for approved client loans. This role involves ensuring that all documentation is accurate and authentic, and addressing any discrepancies through detailed checks and corrections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document Verification: Confirm the authenticity of documents and the accuracy of information by contacting relevant customers.
• Data Management: Enter and verify data at key stages of the onboarding process, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Sales Monitoring: Ensure all sales are completed within recommended timelines and follow up with the Front Office if delays occur.
• Trend Analysis: Identify and report trends that may impact document quality, and take corrective action as needed.
• Fraud Prevention: Conduct fraud checks to minimize the risk of fraudulent or inaccurate applications.
• Issue Resolution: Define reasons for loan rejections during verification and liaise with team supervisors on any issues.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively to enhance efficiency and recommend improvements.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies, processes, and the code of conduct.
• Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks as required and contribute to achieving company goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Results-driven with a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to handle difficult clients and work independently.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Team player with creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience in telecom or microfinance institutions is a plus.
