Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Communication Strategies:
- Design and implement URA’s communication and public relations strategies.
- Foster relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders.
- Organize press briefings, media coverage, and public events.
- Support crisis communication efforts and facilitate internal communications.
- Content Development and Dissemination:
- Create content for newsletters, reports, brochures, and social media.
- Maintain and manage the archiving system for communication materials.
- Build information networks for effective message distribution.
- Monitor and Report on Communication Impact:
- Analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and media coverage.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure consistent messaging and coordination.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Mass Communications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a media environment, preferably in a newsroom.
- Strong record of integrity.
Desirable:
- Specialized training in Public Relations.
- Experience in photography, videography, and editorial writing.
- Knowledge of taxation and global business practices.
Special Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent writing and reporting skills.
- Strong negotiation and networking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Creative and innovative mindset.
- Proficiency in the latest media trends.
