Job Overview: True North Consult Ltd is seeking four experienced Wellpads Supervisors to join our team in Uganda. The role involves supervising construction activities at wellpads and ensuring project goals are met efficiently and effectively. The successful candidates will report to the Wellpads Superintendent and work on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and coordination as required by the project.
- Supervise a dedicated area of the construction site and ensure adherence to the Construction Level-3 Schedule.
- Monitor progress and prepare performance reports.
- Identify productivity issues, propose corrective actions, and ensure high-priority tasks are addressed.
- Advise on sequencing and scheduling issues, forecast performance and manpower needs.
- Liaise with Superintendents and Supervisors to manage interfaces and ensure compliance with project standards and international codes.
- Assist in resolving technical queries and ensuring safety compliance.
- Maintain contractor relationships, support pre-commissioning activities, and compile necessary reports.
- Act on behalf of the Wellpads Superintendent in their absence if required.
Qualifications:
- HND or equivalent in Civil, Mechanical, Process, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related fields.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial projects, including at least 6 years in construction management in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refining industries.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and familiarity with OPERCOM methodology and ICAPS database.
- Knowledge of international codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently, interact proactively with teams, and adapt to changing demands.
Work Hours: 8 hours per day
