Job Summary

Nile Breweries Limited is seeking four Operators to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. The primary purpose of this role is to interpret and implement the production plan, monitor and control production processes on shift, and ensure adherence to VPO standards (such as OWS, Team Rooms, and 5S).

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the production plan for your shift.
  • Monitor and control production processes using VPO standards and digital tools.
  • Perform quality analysis and ensure process quality and productivity are achieved.
  • Manage waste and byproducts efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Communicate effectively and use escalation procedures as needed.
  • Execute VPO implementation plans and meet shift goals.
  • Apply problem-solving techniques and ensure compliance with administration systems and procedures.
  • Contribute to personal and team development and ensure training compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and detail-oriented.
  • Ethical, team player with excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Strong computer skills and innovative with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stay updated with developments in the profession.

Work Hours

  • 8 hours per shift.
