Our mission is achieved through various programs such as Medicycles, Technical Advising, Treat & Teach, and Digitalization of the Health Commodities Supply Chain. As we expand our initiatives, we are seeking dynamic Maintenance Officers to join our team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of outreach sites and maintaining vital contacts with health workers, district officials, and community leaders. Your responsibilities will include organizing meetings, reporting on ground conditions, assisting in data collection, and supporting field activities. You will collaborate closely with the Field Coordinator and other team members to achieve our objectives.
Background & Qualifications:
Required:
- Diploma in Public Health or related field
- Strong English writing skills
- Verbal proficiency in Lunyankore, Luganda, or Lusoga
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and email; basic Excel skills
- Valid Motorcycle Riding License
Preferred:
- Experience in public health or community engagement
- Familiarity with Google Drive products and project management software
Additional Qualities:
- Willingness to travel and work in remote areas
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
Compensation:
This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) with a monthly compensation of UGX 1,000,000 before taxes. Health Access Connect will cover field travel expenses.
