MTN Uganda Limited is an equal opportunity employer and is seeking to recruit 34 competent individuals for the position of Direct Sales Agents – Home Fixed Broadband. The role involves serving customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
Reports to: Manager – Fixed Broadband
Number of Vacancies: 34
Main Job Functions:
- Sell products and meet customer needs.
- Perform physical and online sales activities to achieve company sales objectives.
- Identify and contact potential customers for business opportunities.
- Make inbound and outbound calls to sell company products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about product information and promotions.
- Provide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop sales strategies and determine sales forecasts and projections.
- Stay abreast with online marketing trends and competitors.
- Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Keep Sales Supervisor informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Education Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing from a recognized University.
Experience Requirements:
- 6 months to 1 year working experience in the sales industry.
- Good knowledge of sales and retail industry trends, best practices, and service principles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Flexibility and agility regarding working hours.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Communication skills.
