JOB DETAILS:
Key Result Areas:

• Facilitate installation of machinery & fabrication of company facilities including tanks and other special equipment.
• Review and identify material needs and place requisition for such equipment and associated spare parts.
• Maintain safe custody of tools and equipment allocated.
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations, ensuring high safety measures are upheld.
• Operate heavy equipment such as industrial saws and other heavy tools.
• Review different welding methods and provide guidance as appropriate.
• Plan and prepare maintenance schedules for all welding operations.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures as guided by the Mechanical Supervisor.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Mechanical Supervisor.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate in Crafts in sheet and metal works.
• 2 years relevant work experience in a similar field.

Skills & Professional Attributes Required:

• Strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent personnel management skills.
• Ability to handle multi-tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
