Job Summary:

Asaak Financial Services is seeking experienced, talented, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic professionals to join their team. The Risk, Recovery Tracking Coordinator will supervise a team of recovery and tracking officers, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed risk assessments, analyze risks, and identify, describe, and estimate risks affecting the business.
  • Develop and implement policies and contingency plans to reduce and control risks and liabilities.
  • Prepare and present risk assessment reports.
  • Review loan documents and liaise with internal and external parties for efficient loan recovery.
  • Generate, review, and maintain loan disbursement reports, providing monthly updates in accordance with credit policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure all lending documentation is complete as per company policies and procedures.
  • Identify non-performing loans and proactively follow up to ensure appropriate actions are taken per credit policy.
  • Monitor irregularities, past dues, documentation deficiencies, etc., and report to the Branch Manager.
  • Conduct spot checks on the recovery team.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing relevant guidance, coaching, and training to ensure high performance levels in line with company and departmental guidelines.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Specifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Microfinance or any related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a micro credit environment or a similar role.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to function under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of personal and professional integrity.
  • Ability and willingness to ride a motorcycle with a valid Class A riding license.

Work Hours:

  • 8 hours per day

Experience:

  • 24 months (2 years)

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor Degree
