Summary:

As a Field Coordinator, you will work closely with our staff and partners to organize community activities, expand our reach to new villages, collect vital data, and liaise with relevant officials. Background:
Health Access Connect is committed to bridging the gap in healthcare access for remote communities. Our mission is fulfilled through various programs, including Medicycles, Technical Advising, Treat & Teach, and Digitalization of the Health Commodities Supply Chain. Each program aims to empower communities and improve healthcare delivery in Uganda.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Field Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up monitoring procedures for field activities.
- Reviewing and analyzing field reports and clinic data.
- Compiling findings into actionable reports for program improvement.
- Implementing expansion plans in collaboration with Field Officers.
- Maintaining schedules for outreaches and clinics.
- Tracking the progress of Field Officers in target communities.
- Assessing and resolving challenges with health facilities and communities.
- Conducting staff evaluations and attending relevant meetings.
- Interviewing beneficiaries and health workers to understand needs.
- Using various tools for project monitoring and reporting.
- Participating in training sessions as required.
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Background and Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field.
- Leadership abilities or three years of relevant work experience.
- Strong writing and reporting skills in English.
- Verbal proficiency in Luganda, Lunyankole, and Lusoga.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience drafting or implementing organizational procedures.
- Familiarity with the public health sector and relevant tools.
Additional Qualities:
- Willingness to travel and work in remote areas.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and self-motivation.
Compensation:
This is a full-time position with a monthly compensation of UGX 1,800,000 before taxes. Health Access Connect covers field travel expenses.
