About Us: Landy Industries Ltd has been a key player in the manufacturing sector in Uganda since 2009, specializing in plastics, shoes, and gumboots. We import a variety of materials including EVA, LDPE, PVC, and DOP to ensure high-quality production.

Position Summary: We are seeking 10 enthusiastic and creative Shoe Conveyor Supervisors to join our team. The successful candidates will oversee shoe-making operations, manage team members, and ensure that production meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of team members.
  • Ensure the shoe-making process adheres to quality standards.
  • Develop, review, and enhance operating methods and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of necessary supplies and ensure all equipment is functional.
  • Manage special projects and track progress towards company goals.
  • Engage in educational opportunities to build and expand skills.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and resource management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Willingness to relocate to Mukono, Mbalala.
  • Net pay: 500,000 to 700,000 UGX, starting salary.

Work Hours: 8 hours per day
