Former High Court judge dies

The former  High Court judge Wilson Masalu Musene  kicked the bucket on Sunday.

The Legal fraternity in a short notice declared that Musene died on Sunday night in Mbale.

“Memorial service  (will) be declared later,” the message reads and adds that the body had been taken to the Mbale city mortuary.

The late Musene resigned from legal service in 2021 in the wake of reaching 65 years although the Constitution permitted him three additional months to end up any forthcoming chamber work.

Judge Musene was among the four Ugandan legal officers whom the US Government in August 2020 forced monetary sanctions and visa limitations over the supposed conspiracy in activities that victimised small kids in a corrupt adoption plot.

The other three sanctioned together with him included justice Moses Mukiibi, Dorah Mirembe a advocate and her husband patrick Ecobu.

The US department of treasury Office of foreign assests Control (OFAC) in its 2020 proclamation noticed that the three partook in a fraud that saw small kids eliminated from their families in Uganda and put into a corrupt adoption network
