Key Purpose: To provide efficient supply of all utilities to the production departments within the Brewery.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental legislation.
- Develop and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
- Manage human resources, including employee development and maintaining a healthy industrial relations climate.
- Ensure the integrity of manufacturing systems and instrumentation.
- Maintain and update engineering standards and documentation.
- Lead asset care strategy and optimize the use of planned maintenance systems.
- Design minor plant modifications to eliminate performance issues.
- Coordinate relationships between maintenance, engineering services, projects, and brewing staff.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.
- Ensure plant reliability and product quality.
- Adhere to local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Competence and Technical Skills Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years’ experience as an engineer.
- Proficiency in PLC and software skills on site.
- Strong analytical, evaluative, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Leadership and people-handling skills.

Job Title: Brewing Area Manager

Key Purpose: To manage and coordinate the production plan from Central Planning in the Brewing Department and lead the brewing team, ensuring product quality and efficient output.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate team problem-solving and manage opportunities using short interval control.
- Communicate effectively and conduct regular GEM assessments.
- Ensure teams understand and apply VPO standards.
- Lead change processes to implement VPO standards and support all 7 pillars in the workplace.
- Manage occupational health, safety, and risk for production teams.
- Apply performance management principles and develop employees for current and future roles.
- Ensure a healthy industrial relations climate and effective leadership.
- Train employees on technical and VPO standards.
- Control fixed and variable costs, minimize waste, and ensure conformance to production plans and specifications.
- Support engineering integrity and process optimization.
- Ensure adherence to environmental standards.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
- Diploma or Certificate in brewing is an advantage.
- 5 years of experience in an FMCG environment recommended.
- Experience as a Team Leader, Unit Manager, or related role.
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and operational excellence.
