Job Purpose:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the performance of systems. This role involves effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems, including analyzing system logs, applying updates, patches, and configuration changes, and performing recovery procedures for mission-critical enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement security policies and procedures for IT systems in alignment with ICT policies.
- Administer SAN backups, snapshots, and restoration, and coordinate contingency plan tests.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades, and configure/add new services as necessary.
- Administer and support Disaster Recovery systems, CCTV, digital security access, and time and attendance environments.
- Continuously monitor systems and maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations.
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise IT systems, including directory services, internet, and email.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Physical Sciences, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
- IT professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, CompTIA, Cisco, Oracle, CISA, ITIL).
- 3 years of relevant IT experience.
- Experience with Windows server infrastructure, Microsoft Exchange Server, Storage technology, firewall technologies, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Title: Head Procurement and Disposal
Department: Procurement and Disposal
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Purpose:
The Head of Procurement and Disposal manages all procurement and disposal activities in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Regulations, and Development Partners’ procurement guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Procurement and Disposal Department and manage staff performance and development.
- Facilitate procurement planning, contracting, and control for compliance and value for money.
- Maintain an updated procurement and disposal plan and liaise with the PPDA and Development Partners.
- Coordinate procurement processes, prepare Terms of Reference, Specifications, and Bid documents.
- Support the Contracts Committee and review internal procurement policies.
- Maintain procurement profiles, records, and databases.
- Provide technical advice on procurement and disposal matters.
- Monitor contract performance and manage departmental resources.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or a related discipline is an advantage.
- Full membership in CIPS, APS, IPPU, CPSP, or equivalent is a plus.
- 8 years of experience in procurement management, with at least 5 years at a senior level in funded projects.
- Knowledge of local procurement laws and regulations.
- Strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and a track record of meeting targets.
