Job Purpose:
The Senior Human Resource Officer will develop and implement strategies to provide comprehensive HR and welfare support, ensuring the well-being, safety, and development of employees and clients. This role ensures a positive and inclusive work environment aligning with the company’s values and objectives, compliance, and business success through effective HR management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws.
• Administer employee benefits, remuneration, and statutory deductions on time.
• Develop and implement strategies to celebrate successes, milestones, and provide regular feedback.
• Oversee workforce mobility, ensuring optimal staffing levels and aligning with organizational policies and objectives.
• Allocate resources and job assignments efficiently.
• Maintain HR records.
• Collaborate with employees to define development goals and recommend appropriate actions.
• Provide regular HR reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive generalist HR management experience.
• Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Creative skills.

Added Advantage:

• Master’s degree in HR or relevant certification.
• Experience with HR Management Software.

Job Summary:
Responsible for supervision of earthworks operations on the production site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and ensure the effective use of drill rigs, heavy machinery, and equipment.
• Maintain high levels of quality and report any maintenance faults.
• Control movements of piling rig and associated plant around the site.
• Conduct daily inspections of the piling rig and ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Comply with all HSE policies and communicate safe working practices.
• Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working order.
• Communicate effectively with field staff, engineers, and clients.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical plans.
• Operate cranes and other lifting equipment.
• Monitor pile driver operation and inspect piles to ensure specifications are met.
• Drive steel tubes into the ground, fill with concrete, and remove them to leave the support in place.

Qualifications Skills & Experience:

• Higher national diploma in mechanical engineering.
• Valid competence certificate in the operation of piling rigs with additional safety training.
• Minimum of 8 years of proven work experience.
• Knowledge of piling and micro piling techniques.
• Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
