Job Description
Spear Motors Ltd, the general distributor for Mercedes Benz Group AG, Daimler Trucks AG, Stellantis, and Mazda Motor Corporation for Uganda, is seeking to recruit highly experienced Sales Representatives.
Job Purpose:
Sales Representatives will be responsible for day-to-day sales of passenger vehicles, identifying potential customer leads, educating prospects about products through calls, trainings, presentations, and providing exceptional support to existing customers to expand our customer base.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Source potential customers and generate leads for Mercedes Benz passenger vehicles through your contacts.
- Sales Proposals: Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and contracts for Sales Manager’s action.
- Client Engagement: Present and sell passenger car products and services to current and prospective clients.
- Customer Service: Receive customers, attend to their needs professionally, and handle inquiries and complaints efficiently.
- Documentation: Record and document all sales transactions and activities in compliance with company policies.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain an up-to-date sales activity diary to prepare weekly sales reports for the Sales Manager.
- Customer Correspondence: Keep a clear track record of each customer in an up-to-date correspondence file.
- Follow-ups: Follow up on referrals and new leads resulting from field activity.
- Promotion Activities: Participate in promotional activities and initiatives as required.
- Sales Statistics: Assist in collecting sales statistics to determine the company’s sales growth.
- Meetings: Attend all scheduled sales team meetings and provide information to management about sales, goals, and obstacles.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Education: Certificate or Diploma in sales, marketing, or a business-related course.
- Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in passenger car sales, preferably in a dealership or showroom setting.
- Skills:
- Good knowledge of manual and computerized sales systems.
- Proficiency in computer use, including sales software.
- Interpersonal, public relations, and communication skills.
- Good negotiation, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Work Hours
- Hours: 8 hours per day
- Experience: 36 months
- Level of Education: Associate Degree
