Job Title: Sales Officer

Location: Adjumani (with possible travel to surrounding regions)
Role Summary:
We seek dynamic individuals to join our sales team in Uganda, responsible for implementing Tulima Solar’s sales programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling agricultural equipment, be field-based, and work cross-functionally with Customer Care, Field Service, and Marketing teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary sales contact, bridging the company with current and potential markets through B2B and B2C models.
- Maintain and develop customer relationships through various communication methods.
- Gather market intelligence, manage customer information, and assist with product introductions and promotions.
- Meet and exceed performance targets, manage customer surveys, and report sales activities.
- Ensure proper accountability for cash disbursed and follow procedures for stock and sales app usage.
- Educate customers on equipment usage, payment processes, and ensure timely repayment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of field-based sales experience.
- Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Management, Agricultural Studies, or related fields.
- Fluent in English and at least two additional local languages (Aringa, Madi, Lugbara, etc.).

Job Title: Customer Service Officer
Reports to: Customer Service Supervisor
Location: Based on assignment, with travel as required
Role Summary:
We are looking for skilled customer service professionals to ensure customer satisfaction by handling service tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include installations, audits, replacements, customer education, and providing feedback to improve customer experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Attend to and complete assigned service tasks, including replacements and device reallocations.
- Document problems and solutions, and provide feedback for service improvement.
- Collaborate with customer care and technical teams to prioritize tasks and manage customer expectations.
- Achieve objectives cost-effectively to maintain low service prices for customers.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a customer servicing role.
- Diploma in Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, Marketing, Communication, Social Sciences, or related fields. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Fluent in English and at least two additional local languages (Luganda, Lango, Lugbara, Madi, Ateso, Lugisu, Lusoga, Swahili, etc.).
