Risk Officer
Role Summary: The Risk Officer at Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda will play a pivotal role in overseeing the risk management framework of the organization. Reporting to the CEO and Regional Head of Risk and Compliance, this position will be based at our Head Office in Kampala.
Main Responsibilities:
- Strategy: Implement strategic direction for the Risk Function, monitor regulatory developments, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Operational: Identify and analyze risks, conduct assessments, and maintain risk registers.
- Governance: Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies, implement internal controls.
- Leadership & Culture: Promote ethical practices and foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
- Advanced certifications in Risk & Compliance.
- 3-4 years’ experience in risk management and compliance.
