Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region, including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan. On behalf of our client in the renewable energy sector, we are seeking a competent, skilled, and experienced Sales Team Lead to work in Central Uganda.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Team Lead will manage field sales teams to achieve sales targets and enhance client experiences within a defined geographical region. The role is field-based and requires meticulous planning within the assigned region. The ideal candidate should be eager to work in a thriving social impact business focused on small-scale farmers, aiming to transform livelihoods.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Training:

  • Source, identify, and recruit goal-oriented sales agents capable of selling company products.
  • Train and onboard sales agents to ensure they are prepared to meet company KPIs.

Team Management:

  • Conduct daily and weekly check-ins with teams to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Manage, track, and report lead generation and selling processes of sales agents.
  • Coordinate after-sales customer service to maintain brand strength.

Sales:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and establish sales KPIs for sales agents.
  • Monitor and push for sales closures to meet sales targets.
  • Establish rapport with clients, partners, and the community to ensure full utilization and understanding of company products and brand.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a sales role in the energy sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas.
  • Strong leadership abilities and outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think and plan strategically, manage, and act to achieve set outcomes.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and meet targets.
  • Passion for irrigation and in-depth knowledge of the industry and current trends.
  • Independent thinker with proactive decision-making capabilities.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and experience working in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to handle pressure, meet targets, maintain composure, and handle rejection gracefully.
  • Organized with excellent time management skills at both personal and team levels.
  • A diploma or degree in a business-related field is an added advantage.
