Job Purpose
Provide operational support for public education activities.
Key Responsibilities/ Deliverables
- Monitor the implementation of CMA’s public education program and other activities aimed at increasing awareness of capital markets among current and potential investors (savers), business owners, entrepreneurs, and founders of businesses.
- Participate in public appearances, workshops, lectures, contests, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, roadshows, and other fora designed to create awareness and sensitize the general public on capital market investment & financing opportunities.
- Review and edit education and training materials, including presentations, brochures, posters, newsletters, magazines, books, and other publications, to address the problems and questions from audiences.
- Provide quality control in the delivery of all public awareness programs and prepare relevant reports on program activities.
- Benchmark with other regulators and market jurisdictions to stay abreast with new trends and innovations relevant for developing the industry.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Person Specifications
Education and Training:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution/university in Economics, Statistics, Education, Commerce, Business Administration (Finance), or any other related subject.
Experience:
- At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in teaching, training, or transferring knowledge, especially to large audiences.
- Experience in the financial sector industry and with broad knowledge or interest in financial services will be an added advantage.

Job Purpose
The Internal Audit Officer will review, evaluate, and contribute to the improved effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes and perform audit assignments in accordance with the Internal Audit Charter.
Responsibilities / Key Deliverables
- Participate in the development and implementation of the annual audit plan.
- Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits and follow up on the recommendations and actions resulting from internal and external audit engagements.
- Advise stakeholders on internal controls, risk management, and governance issues and provide best practices.
- Carry out periodic evaluation and effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes, as well as the reliability of financial information, and make recommendations.
- Draft an Internal Audit and support risk management project that ensures a review of all business processes for proper governance and effective risk management.
- Undertake surveillance of the IFMIS system, including review of payments and supporting accountabilities to ascertain their authenticity and completeness.
- Carry out any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Person Specifications
Education & Training:
- An Honors Bachelor’s Degree in either Finance and Accounting, Business Administration/ Commerce with bias in Accounting, or Statistics from a recognized institution.
- The required candidate should have attained at least level II of ACCA, CPA, or CIA.
Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience in a reputable organization as an Auditor.
