Summary:
Seaowl Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled Project Social Coordinator for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project. This role involves coordinating social performance assurance, grievance management, and community relations across the project’s construction sites in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and report on Contractor social performance, including grievance management and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with EACOP’s social performance standards and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training on social performance to Project and Contractor teams.
  • Interface with various internal and external stakeholders to address social issues and impacts.

Qualifications:

  • Ugandan national with an advanced degree in Social Sciences or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in social risk and impact mitigation, with at least 5 years in social performance assurance.
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency in English, and experience in mentoring and coaching teams.

Summary:
Seaowl Energy Services is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Advisor for the EACOP project. This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance across all project activities, managing relationships with regulatory authorities, and supporting contractors with permitting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project compliance with Ugandan and international oil and gas regulations.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and manage compliance documentation.
  • Support project contractors in meeting regulatory requirements and address non-compliances.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide compliance reports to authorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Oil and Gas Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Knowledge of compliance management systems and tools.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or similar large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in English and local Ugandan languages is required.
