Job Summary

Activities:

  • Interface between MDR HO Engineering team and OC/OSB Engineering Contractor.
  • Manage and coordinate discipline engineering and follow-on engineering work to assist the project schedule.
  • Provide technical support and engineering resolution for building design.
  • Ensure technical responses align with project specifications and approved concession/deviation requests.
  • Address Client technical clarifications and issues in line with project requirements.
  • Resolve inter-discipline complex issues with engineers.
  • Support meetings with Client, Construction, Sub-contractors, Vendors, and support teams as needed.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, vendors, and general workforce to resolve engineering issues.
  • Ensure AFC (Approved for Construction) documents are available per project schedule.
  • Utilize home office engineering knowledge for complex technical issues, particularly for Tilenga Project Building design.
  • Approve Design Change Notifications (DCNs) and promptly notify construction.
  • Identify changes from the base scope for approval and raise technical queries/concession/deviation requests as needed.
  • Prepare subcontract deliverables including Project Procedures and RFQ Packages.
  • Assist Subcontract Manager/Sr. Subcontract Specialist in awarding contracts.
  • Manage post-award subcontract management and execution.
  • Oversee training and advancement of local employees.

Basic Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or similar qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Subcontract administration activities on EPC projects in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Subcontract management software.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presenting).

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree

Activities:

  • Oversee daily construction activities including scheduling workers, equipment, and materials delivery, and project progress.
  • Coordinate works between multiple contractors.
  • Plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment.
  • Set an example for HSE objectives and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor project procedures and execution strategies.
  • Evaluate weekly work plans and optimize subcontractor work execution.
  • Review and comment on Subcontractor documentation.

Basic Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or sufficient site execution experience.
  • Experience with international contractors on complex multi-discipline projects.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained and resolve any non-conformance.
  • Support planning, scheduling, pre-commissioning, and commissioning groups.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering, design, international standards, and client specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of English (oral and written), HSE and cost consciousness, attention to detail.
