Key Responsibilities:
- Accountability to Beneficiaries:
- Receive, record, and compile complaints and feedback.
- Data entry into World Vision and WFP complaint systems.
- Mobilize beneficiaries for CBT distribution and verifications.
- Participate in mainstreaming Accountability to Affected Persons (AAP).
- Organize post-distribution review meetings.
- Beneficiary Verification:
- Admit and verify beneficiaries during distributions.
- Monthly and quarterly verification of in-kind assistance and agent banking beneficiaries.
- Support monitoring of agent cash-out points and equipment functionality.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and share daily GDT reports.
- Compile and share quarterly verification reports and monthly statistical data.
- Retailer and Market Strengthening:
- Mobilize retailers for assessments.
- Assist in forming VSLAs and SACCOs for credit access.
- Support retailer performance monitoring and training.
- Link VSLAs and SACCOs to financial service providers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Implementation:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Strengthen capacity of local partners.
- Coordinate project activities to align with goals and objectives.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Achieve project targets and ensure sustainability.
- Project Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL):
- Support effective monitoring, documentation, and reporting.
- Ensure beneficiary community participation.
- Collaborate with WASH MEAL specialist and District Water Office for resource mapping.
- Lead project research and documentation of outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Networking:
- Build strong relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at forums and workshops.
- Ensure quality government and community participation.
- Community Mobilization and Sensitization:
- Lead community mobilization efforts.
- Conduct sensitization campaigns and meetings.
- Foster community ownership and participation.
- Capacity Building and Training:
- Coordinate capacity-building initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training programs.
- Monitor training effectiveness and provide ongoing support.
- Financial Management:
- Facilitate loan disbursement and financial management.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance.
- Prepare financial reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in rural water supply and sanitation projects.
- Knowledge of WASH sector issues and financing.
- Experience in training, community activities, and logistics.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in rural communities in Uganda.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Fluency in English and local languages of Kamwenge District is advantageous.
