Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Review voucher interface files and Provision requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage mobile money transactions and ensure timely reconciliations.
- Complete and consolidate budgets, upload into Horizon and SharePoint.
Financial Reporting:
- Generate and review financial reports and discuss with cluster teams.
- File final reports monthly.
Risk Management:
- Lead internal and external audits and implement recommendations.
- Update asset registers quarterly and conduct routine field visits.
Capacity Building:
- Provide technical financial support to Assistant Accountants, Program staff, and partners.
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in Accounting/Finance/Auditing.
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience.
- Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Vision Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SUN Accounting, and Access.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Management:
- Develop and manage the implementation of the partnership communications Ignite Framework.
- Manage cross-functional communication plans and build relationships with media and donors.
- Identify reputation risk issues and implement recovery plans.
Media, Campaigns & Brand:
- Maintain relationships with media and act as a spokesperson.
- Monitor news and sector coverage affecting World Vision Uganda.
- Lead communication for public campaigns and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
Capacity Building, Internal Coordination and Collaboration:
- Provide communication capacity-building training to staff and partners.
- Coordinate with resource development teams for capacity building and funding materials.
Content Management:
- Manage the production of multimedia and written materials.
- Ensure meaningful child participation in produced materials.
- Handle requests and updates from World Vision Support Offices.
People Management:
- Manage the workload of direct reports and support their performance and learning goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least five years of experience in communications or journalism, with two years in an INGO.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage media resources.
- Ability to work in difficult conditions and think strategically.
- Proven field communications experience and ability to lead a team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, media and communications, or a related field.
- Photography and filmmaking skills and NGO sector understanding are highly desirable.
