Role Overview:
The Program Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and coordination of various programs focused on sustainable development, community engagement, and capacity building. This role combines administrative tasks, project management, and fieldwork. The Program Assistant will collaborate closely with the Program Manager and other team members to ensure effective program execution and goal achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling, filing, and correspondence.
- Support field officers with regional program activities.
- Prepare and distribute meeting materials, reports, and correspondence.
- Maintain organized records and documentation.
- Assist the Program Manager with daily operational tasks.
- Data Management:
- Coordinate with the Research team to follow data quality assurance protocols.
- Prepare regular progress reports, case studies, and success stories.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting.
- Program Coordination:
- Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring program activities.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Prepare and distribute program materials, reports, and documentation.
- Support project planning, timelines, and budgets.
- Track project progress and report on KPIs.
- Identify and address potential project risks and issues.
- Conduct field visits and engage with community stakeholders.
- Communication and Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Represent SEMA at meetings, conferences, and events.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and community members.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Law, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in program management within the social justice sector.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., G. Suite, Canva, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of sustainable development practices and community engagement is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with standard working hours and occasional overtime or evening events.
- Full-time (40 hours/week), with occasional weekend activities.
- Regular fieldwork and travel within SEMA’s operational areas.
- On-site presence required; this is not a remote role.

The Technology Assistant will provide technical support, maintain computer systems, networks, and software, and assist in technology project implementation. This role involves collaborating with the Technology Manager and other team members to ensure effective use of technology in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure & Technical Support:
- Provide first-level technical support to staff for hardware and software issues.
- Support technology solutions for data collection, analysis, and visualization.
- Assist in adopting new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate on developing data-driven tools and applications.
- Maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
- Ensure system security and reliability.
- Project Support:
- Work with the Technology Manager to align technology tasks with organizational goals.
- Foster innovation and continuous learning within the team.
- Provide technical guidance and support to staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support.
- Strong expertise in network administration, database management, software development, and cybersecurity.
- Understanding of data management and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with occasional on-site user support.
