Job Summary:
As a Procurement Officer, you will support the Procurement Manager in ensuring all procurement processes are documented and transparent. Your role includes managing procurement documentation, ensuring competitive and fair processes, and working closely with technical teams to align with project needs.

DAI is seeking highly motivated professionals for two critical roles within our USAID Feed the Future Uganda Water and Food Systems (WFS) Activity project. This five-year initiative aims to enhance food and water security in the Kyoga Basin, targeting key areas to improve livelihoods, nutrition, and financial access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and manage procurement processes from start to finish.
  • Ensure transparency and competitiveness in all procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to address project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in procurement and logistics.
  • Experience with USAID project procurement systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
  • Membership to CIPS, IPPU, or CILT desired.

Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:
The Accountant will ensure adherence to financial policies, manage project budgets, and maintain accurate financial records. You will be responsible for general accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with USG regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide accounting support and financial analysis.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
  • Over 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, with 2 years in managing USAID-funded projects.
  • Experience with enterprise accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes.
