Responsibilities:

  • Set up, install, and maintain an efficient information network system.
  • Configure switching and routing environments for network connectivity.
  • Monitor network delay, latency, unavailability, and branch link usage.
  • Provide daily administration and second-level support for the voice network.
  • Maintain servers, routers, switches, workstations, standalone PCs, and supporting devices/software.
  • Assist users with network connections and password issues.
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT-related equipment.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date network asset inventory.
  • Conduct disaster recovery tests for business continuity.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on network equipment.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure network operating systems meet specifications.
  • Conduct vulnerability and penetration tests to identify and fix security gaps.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • MCSA, CCNA, or similar networking certification (mandatory).
  • 3 years of experience with Cisco firewalls, routers, switches, and second-level Cisco voice network support.
  • Knowledge of banking operations.
  • ICT Security Knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Age: Not more than 40 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute database operations, maintenance, security, archiving, and recovery procedures.
  • Provide input to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans.
  • Manage database licenses effectively.
  • Develop specifications for database construction and maintenance based on business requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all database operations and procedures.
  • Monitor end-of-cycle activities and ensure compliance with schedules.
  • Investigate and resolve database issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Liaise with vendors for complex database-related issues and implementation projects.
  • Address database integration issues including synchronization, maintenance, conversion, and capacity planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, UNIX (SOLARIS & Linux), SQL, and database management systems.
  • Experience in system scripting (e.g., PERL, PYTHON, Shell) and working with open-source RDBMS (e.g., MySQL).
  • ICT Security Knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Age: Not more than 40 years.
