Job Purpose: Responsible for identifying new opportunities for developing new marketable products and services from concept to distribution, in order to meet customers’ needs and invigorate FTB’s current market.
Key Result Areas:
- Offer strategic and thought leadership in the Bank’s Product development strategy
- Identify customer segments and recommend opportunities using data insights
- Participate in quality and completeness of the finished product
- Analyze market trends and develop sales, price, and profitability plans
- Recommend product improvements and identify new opportunities
- Conduct research and evaluate market trends
- Prepare monthly product performance reports
- Serve as Secretary to the PDC
- Present new ideas to Product Development Committee
- Prepare and validate commercial and go-to-market plans
- Manage product deployment plans
- Perform tasks related to product pricing and revenue assurance
- Identify opportunities for new revenue and cost reduction
- Develop new collaborative schemes with organizations and companies
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in driving innovation and change agendas in Financial Services
- Ability to link and apply complex technologies to business strategies
- Adept at Financial Technology or Banking products and trends
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a research/Product development role in a regulated financial institution
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer literacy, numerical, and statistical skills
- Team player, ability to work under pressure, and exercise excellent judgment
- Ability to build functioning working relationships across the organization
- Takes clear accountability and focuses on delivery of broader corporate goals
- Demonstrates a positive image and upholds FTB values
- Must be a person of integrity

- Knowledge of new financial products, services, and delivery channels
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
- Strong quantitative, aptitude, and analytical skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis
