Role Purpose: Diagnose and repair vehicle problems accurately and quickly, requiring understanding of electrical, hydraulic, engine and braking systems, transmission, and air conditioning.
Responsibilities:
- Operating Machines:
- Operate various machinery (tractors, sprayers, combines, etc.).
- Ensure high-quality work and proper input usage.
- Report breakdowns and damages.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Perform daily checklists and assist mechanics with services.
- Alert the mechanics team for required services.
- Corrective Maintenance:
- Communicate issues to mechanics.
- Support corrective maintenance.
- Machine Cleaning:
- Maintain machine cleanliness.
- Clean machines before serious mechanical work.
- Reporting Faults:
- Immediate fault reporting.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other mechanical work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Valid operating license.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Ability to operate a range of agricultural machinery.
- Knowledge of workshop procedures and health and safety protocols.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Desirable:
- Certificates in basic servicing and mechanical work.
- Good leadership skills.
Competencies:
- Expertise in machinery operation and maintenance.
- Ability to resolve mechanical issues.
- Effective communication and time management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in varying weather.

Role Purpose: Diagnose and repair vehicle problems efficiently, with expertise in various systems (electrical, hydraulic, engine, braking, transmission, and air conditioning).
Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Daily inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Perform 50-hour and 250-hour services.
- Corrective Maintenance:
- Root cause analysis for failures.
- Timely and effective breakdown resolution.
- Other Mechanical Tasks:
- Oil changes, brake repairs, and small engine repairs.
- Mentor junior mechanics.
- Vehicle Wiring:
- Basic wiring tasks and battery maintenance.
- General Responsibilities:
- Other mechanical duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of vehicle electrical work experience.
- Service and repair skills for agricultural machinery.
- Knowledge of workshop procedures and health and safety practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and OEM diagnostic tools.
- Communication and time management skills.
- Desirable:
- Leadership skills and teamwork abilities.
