Job Summary:
The Logistics Assistant will ensure the efficient execution of procurement, asset management, stock control, and premises maintenance in compliance with GOAL and Donor guidelines.

Job Functions:

  • Fixed Assets: Maintain assets as per GOAL procedures, prepare donation reports, conduct bi-annual inventory checks, and manage loss or damage reports.
  • Stocks & Warehouse: Adhere to store management procedures, complete documentation for goods movement, monitor stock levels, and manage stock reports.
  • Premises: Implement health and safety checks, oversee maintenance schedules, manage pest control, and ensure security and waste disposal systems are in place.
  • Procurement/Purchasing: Handle supply chain tasks, manage purchase requests, ensure timely procurement, and oversee delivery and invoice verification.

Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of INGO experience in a similar field.
  • Knowledge of procurement, asset management, and warehouse procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and Word.
  • Fluent in English and a local language.How to Apply:

Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: Human Resources Team Leader
Direct Reports: None

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant supports the implementation of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, time and attendance, and HR data management.

Job Functions:

  • Recruitment: Assist with recruitment processes in line with GOAL’s procedures.
  • Time and Attendance: Manage leave plans, track timesheets, and train staff on the Kefron online leave application.
  • Records Management: Maintain documentation, track files, and manage the RED File.
  • ID Processing & Visibility: Process Staff IDs, T-shirts, and maintain reserve stock.
  • National Staff Reporting Requirements/HR Metrics: Update staff lists, track demographics, and contribute to the monthly newsletter.
  • Employee Motivation: Track long-serving staff, manage staff engagement events, and process staff well-being support.
  • Staff Separation: Process certificates of service and organize farewells.
  • Payroll: Review and submit driver overtime reports.

Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR support experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
