Job Details: The Livelihood Officer will oversee the implementation of agricultural and livelihood initiatives, ensuring high standards and timely delivery. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance in agronomy, promoting modern farming techniques, and supporting enterprise development. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Implementation and Sustainability
- Develop annual project activity plans and update quarterly.
- Provide expertise and technical assistance in agronomy and agribusiness.
- Promote modern farming practices and techniques.
- Provide technical advice on enterprise development initiatives.
- Identify and promote local innovations through adaptive research.
- Establish block gardens and demonstration plots for learning.
- Select beneficiaries and prioritize income-generating activities.
- Develop business plans and provide mentorship for business groups.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of farmer inputs.
- Organize weekly field planning meetings.
- Promote resilience and livelihoods program models.
- Ensure core project models and approaches are implemented.
- Improve living conditions and farmers’ knowledge on business skills.
- Stakeholders Engagement, Networking, and Collaboration
- Lead field-level activities and represent World Vision in meetings.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement during planning and development.
- Develop farmers’ capacity to improve production.
- Organize quarterly review meetings for partners and communities.
- Integrate the project with other ongoing activities.
- Documentation, Reporting, and Knowledge Management
- Submit comprehensive monthly progress reports.
- Participate in financial reporting.
- Document and share impact stories and best practices.

- Community Engagement and Advocacy
- Develop farmers’ capacity to improve production and productivity.
- Mobilize and facilitate stakeholder engagements.
