Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Head of Treasury, the role holder will be responsible for managing the liquidity position of the Bank, optimizing and executing the funding and liquidity management of the Bank.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Monitor and manage the bank’s Cash Reserve Requirement ensuring optimum liquidity with no regulatory breaches.
  • Engage business stakeholders to align activities with optimal liquidity structure and identify potential risks.
  • Perform pipeline analysis for proper liquidity planning.
  • Identify and monitor liquidity risk parameters and engage stakeholders in addressing potential breaches.
  • Prepare daily management reports on liquidity movements.
  • Identify the best investment profile for maximum return from available liquidity.
  • Provide prompt reporting and escalation of breaches in limits and guidelines.
  • Build robust liquidity forecasting models and scenario analysis tools.
  • Prepare policies and risk frameworks for optimal liquidity structures.
  • Regularly update assumptions on liquidity stress testing and contingency funding plans.
  • Review business budget inputs to identify and address liquidity risks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • University graduate in Business or Financial related degree with a highly numerate bias.
  • ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
  • At least five years experience in Finance / Risk / Treasury in a busy commercial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of liquidity management.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and economic fundamentals.
  • Appreciation of financial analysis and risk issues.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Good communication and presentation skills to senior-level audiences.
  • General knowledge of the banking environment.
  • Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and personal effectiveness.
  • Personal initiative.

Work Hours:

8 hours per day

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Senior Manager Project Management Office, the role holder will manage the implementation of projects to transform the Bank into a digital and process-oriented operation aimed at improving customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage project managers and teams assigned to change initiative projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, scope, quality, and within budget.
  • Implement a well-defined project management process or methodology.
  • Conduct mandatory performance reviews, staffing, and coaching.
  • Monitor the adoption of approved change initiatives within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation.
  • Review project activities for compliance with procedures and standards.
  • Produce consolidated reports on project milestones, risks, benefits, and costs.
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change processes.
  • Engage stakeholders to build transitional plans and complete change readiness activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Computing, Commerce, Accounting, Business Statistics, or a related field.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
  • Agile methodology/SAFe certification is an advantage.
  • Adept at Financial Technology.
  • Experience in implementing CAPEX projects in banking or telecommunications.
  • Minimum of 10 years of program management or equivalent of 7 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing C-suite teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Proven project management capabilities.
  • Effective people management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and driven.

Work Hours:

8 hours per day
