Job Purpose:

Responsible for routine IT security monitoring and configuration of network security in compliance with security policies and IT operating procedures, and execution of network Disaster Recovery procedures.

Key Result Areas:

1. Ensure antivirus solutions are updated for all devices.
2. Perform security reviews of endpoint devices and report deviations.
3. Conduct technology risk assessments and report inherent technology risks.
4. Conduct cybersecurity awareness and training for users.
5. Responsible for data protection and execution of network disaster recovery procedures.
6. Support Internal Audit, Risk Management, and External Audit functions.
7. Manage the Security Centre to ensure all security systems and software are updated.
8. Efficiently manage the spam filter to minimize cyber attack risks.

Person Specifications:

Education & Training:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in ICT or Computer related studies e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical, Data Communication, and Networks.
2. Relevant Post Graduate IT training and/or certification e.g., CCNA, ITIL.

Skills & Experience:

1. At least 3 years’ experience in Network Security.
2. Good networking skills.
3. Strong attention to detail.

Manage and support the Information Systems Teams in providing the bank’s core banking and business functionality.

Key Result Areas:

1. Achieve 99% uptime of all business applications.
2. Ensure utility and warranty for all technology services under IS section following ITIL framework.
3. Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
4. Oversee installation, configuration, and testing of applications.
5. Manage service requests for upgrading, maintenance, and routine support.
6. Engage users for feedback on application functionality.
7. Propose improvements on existing applications and suggest new innovations.
8. Address service requests and problems timely.
9. Review and improve documentation for applications.
10. Supervise implementation of controls and protocols for information management.
11. Supervise and manage the performance of the team.

Person Specifications:

Education & Training:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in ICT or Computer related studies e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical, Data Communication, and Networks.
2. Postgraduate training in Databases Administration and Applications, and Software Development e.g., Java, MySQL, Cloud Application Developer, Cloud Native Developer, Mobile Application Developer, or Cloud Application Administrator.
3. ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

Skills & Experience:

1. At least 5 years’ experience in Applications Development and maintenance.
2. Proven technical skills in Applications and Software Development.
3. Skills in databases administration.
4. Knowledge of diverse software and hardware in the Bank including ERPs.
5. Ability to supervise and manage a small technical team.
6. Skills in innovation.
7. Attention to detail.
