Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
To be eligible for an internship at UNAIDS, candidates must:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree program at a recognized educational institution, OR have completed a degree at a recognized institution within the past year.
- If recently graduated, begin the internship within 12 months of the graduation date.
- Be at least 20 years old at the date of application.
- Have a working knowledge (both oral and written) of at least one of the official languages of WHO/UNAIDS (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish).
- Hold a valid passport/ID from a WHO/UNAIDS Member State.
- Have no immediate family members employed by the UNAIDS Secretariat (e.g., son/daughter, brother/sister, mother/father).
- Not have previously participated in the UNAIDS internship program.

- Strong communication skills, both in group presentations and written reports.
