Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

To be eligible for an internship at UNAIDS, candidates must:

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree program at a recognized educational institution, OR have completed a degree at a recognized institution within the past year.
• If recently graduated, begin the internship within 12 months of the graduation date.
• Be at least 20 years old at the date of application.
• Have a working knowledge (both oral and written) of at least one of the official languages of WHO/UNAIDS (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish).
• Hold a valid passport/ID from a WHO/UNAIDS Member State.
• Have no immediate family members employed by the UNAIDS Secretariat (e.g., son/daughter, brother/sister, mother/father).
• Not have previously participated in the UNAIDS internship program.
