Job Summary:
The Grants Finance Officer supports the Grants Finance Manager by monitoring specific grants within their portfolio, providing a second layer of project-specific approvals, and maintaining project general ledgers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial planning and management (20%)
  • Compliance, information management, administration, and capacity building (20%)
  • Financial reporting, monitoring, and accountability (25%)
  • Income and receivables management (10%)
  • Donor reporting (20%)
  • Sub-grantee management (5%)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Commerce; Master’s Degree is an advantage
  • Minimum Level 3 in Accounting certification; Full Chartered Accountant or CPA
  • At least two years of experience in grants management
  • Knowledge of GAAP and donor requirements
  • Experience with ERP systems and computerized accounting software

Job Summary:
The Counselor coordinates professional and peer counseling services and organizes community outreach and sensitization activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver counseling services including individual and group counseling for HIV, SGBV, nutrition, etc.
  • Participate in ART Clinic activities
  • Organize community education and sensitization activities
  • Refer patients for further assistance
  • Conduct home visits
  • Ensure counseling services are conducted ethically and confidentially
  • Utilize Peer Educators for home visits and community outreach
  • Manage and appraise counseling volunteers

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Guidance and Counseling, Social Works & Social Administration, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Additional training in HIV counseling is an advantage
  • Two years of experience in a health service setting
  • Experience with HIV counseling and international NGOs is an advantage
  • Knowledge of counseling principles and HIV/SGBV topics
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and support staff development
